Tokushima Washington Hotel Plaza

I do not recommend staying here.

The room is dated and tight. The bathroom has an odor. No clear direction where to park the car to check in. There should be a sign of information at the rear of the hotel to the basement parking.

Basic business hotel. Staff were helpful.

The pillow was very hard, but it was easy to exchange it at the front desk.

Everything was very good. An added bonus was a coffee, soup and soft drink station which was available gratis in the evening.

The location is at least a 15 minutewalk from the train station. A cab may be needed.

The gentleman from the front desk was very helpful during our stay making sure that we had everything we needed.

The hotel was a little bit dated and the neighboring area was not great at night.

The room, the lobby, the breakfast, the drinks. We could leave our bags while we went hiking for 10 days.

Excellent 3-star hotel. Good price. Staff were helpful and courteous. The room was perfectly clean, Was able to check in around 10pm and check out at 5am.

The air conditioning in the middle of summer could have been a bit cooler.

We first stayed in a "double" room, which was tiny and the bed was too small for two people. Our next night we moved to a "twin" room and that was much better

The hotel is dated and in need of renovation. There was a huge crack in the sink and the stopcock in the toilet didn’t work resulting in a constant flow of water into the cistern. I had to remove the top and stop it myself. There was no cooling so we had to open both windows and put up with the noise rather than the stifling heat. By the time I had finished my shower in the morning the water was up to my ankles because of poor drainage. Thankfully we only stayed one night.

Good service, room was quite big.

The location was close to Mt Bizan and the ropeway, but its a 15min walk to Tokushima Station.

The room was way more spacious than I expected (Japanese hotel rooms are often very small) and there was a free soup machine. You could get some beef soup, corn soup and cream chowder soup for free! There was also a microwave on my floor.

-clean, had all amenities such as toothbrush etc-provided pajyamas (long button up, no bottoms) - ensuite with shower and bath - close to convenience store and restaurants - surrounding areas are quiet and very nice to take a stroll around!

- relatively close to the station (10minutes walk) but for elderly, people with a lot of luggage it could be a long walk.- a little bit on the small side for the rooms, if you have many or a big suitcase you may struggle to open it up on the floor.

our room door was unlocked by an unknown guy at 2 am, luckily we closed the chain lock so the guy didn’t come inside the room. But the stuff helped us moved to another new room. But the experience was still really sΛcked.

Perhaps that the room was smaller than we are used to in Europe but I knew than when I booked it.
